For MiSTer FPGA systems that need additional power capacity, this high quality Mean Well power supply provides a regulated 5 volt output at up to 5 amps, delivering a maximum of 25 watts. The extra current capacity provides plenty of headroom for MiSTer systems fitted with add-on boards and multiple USB peripherals.
Mean Well is a respected industrial power supply manufacturer, and this desktop power supply uses a 3 pole IEC C14 AC inlet with a wide universal 90 to 264 volt AC input range. It has an efficiency rating of 84.5% and extremely low no-load power consumption of below 0.075 W. Built in protection includes short circuit, overload and overvoltage protection.
A mains lead is not supplied. The IEC C14 power supply inlet accepts a standard IEC C13 mains lead, also commonly known as a kettle lead. If you do not already have a suitable cable, our UK IEC C13 mains power cable is available separately.
