The transparent BlisSTer case provides tough colourful protection for your MiSTer build, it is great for those who want to show off the PCB design and IC components, protect and admire!

This elegant case is designed for complete protection of your MiSTer. The top casing has ventilation slots allowing airflow from an IO board mounted fan, also three 3D printed button spacers allow for the use of the MiSTer IO boards user push buttons. Due to the transparent nature of the MiSTer case all the status LED’s are still visible through the casing, finally the MiSTer FPGA logo is laser engraved into the top plate.

The BlisSTer acrylic case is only suitable for the BlisSTer Revision 2 & 3 hubs, this case is not compatible with any other hubs including the older earlier BlisSTer board versions. The case is compatible with the real time clock board (RTC) and the audio tape input board (ADC In).

The BlisSTer case fitting kit includes all required parts to install the case onto your MiSTer build. The fitting kit contains eight brass stand-offs, eight screws, four silicone stick on anti-slip feet for the case base to keep your MiSTer stable and a replacement BlisSTer board power switch button cap.

Another benefit due to the transparent nature of the case is all the LED’s are still visible through the casing, finally the MiSTer FPGA logo has been laser engraved for a touch of style.

The MiSTer acrylic case is suitable for official project USB hubs, the supported versions are v1.2 and v2.1, all hub to DE10 Nano micro USB connector types are supported these being the MiSTer USB bracket and the short and long MiSTer USB bridge connectors. The case is also compatible with the real time clock board (RTC) and the audio tape input board (ADC In).

If your MiSTer build has no need of an IO board but you still want an active cooling solution, while also providing protection to your build and looking good, then the acrylic fan plate kit is what you need.

Included with the MiSTer fan plate kit is a cast acrylic top plate finished in either a crystal clear or gloss jet black, a 40mm fan with a shortened fan connection wire, mounting nuts and bolts for the fan, mounting screws for the fan plate and a solid all metal aluminium heatsink with 3M 8810 thermal adhesive applied.

Installation is straight forward, first remove the film from the thermal adhesive on the bottom of the heatsink, then firmly push the heatsink down onto the Cyclone® V. Next mount the fan onto the acrylic plate using the two bolts and nuts, now using the four provided screws mount the plate onto the DE10-Nano’s brass standoffs. Finally connect the fan plug as follows, with the red wire to pin 11 (5V) and the black wire to pin 12 (GND) on the GPIO 1 header.
